I decided to do things a little different with my house in this world, and I’m quite glad with the result. I did debate on putting a fireplace in as well, but didn’t make up my mind in time before finalizing the design
I built my house up on a hills in the village I spawned in. I didn’t want to go far and lose the advantage the spawn chunks provided with the seasons datapack
The way Ice mechanics work really help to sell the passing of the seasons, without any extra work from the datapack. Plus the datapack has frosted ice generate as well, creating the little holes preventing the whole river from just freezing over immediately
I started a new world using the Seasons Datapack for 1.19.4 made by SlicedLime. It’s still a very early version, and is quite rough around the edges, but it’s super interesting to play in
The world feels so alive with the Wandering Trader and Pillager Patrol both walking around established areas
I added a little pathway to get down to our first real cave that we explored
At this point it’s getting hard to shown everything within render distance! We currently have it set to 12 Chunks, but I am considering upping it to 16 Chunks
I still love the vibes of the little safe zone around the spawnpoint
I love how the dome looks over the horizon, so glad we built it
I love the little views you get in certain areas. Makes me want to figure out a build to keep nearby
